AutoAngels is breaking stereotypes one wrench at a time. Join us in changing the face of the automotive workforce.
All the work undertaken is under the watchful eyes of our two industry experts Helen Carter & Clair Thomas – AutoAngels resident Vehicle System Specialists.
They bring a combined 60 years of automotive experience to our projects, having both worked as technicians in the motor industry and spent a considerable amount of time in the training and assessment of automotive technicians.
“I’ve always been fascinated with cars – some of my earliest memories are racing matchbox toys across the floor and tearing around in my pedal car. That passion never faded. When I started driving, I quickly realised that if I wanted to stay on the road, I needed to know how to keep my car running. So, I became a mechanic. It wasn’t just about fixing cars, it was about mastering the machines I loved and never having to rely on someone else.”
“As a child, I was always impressed by my Dad, watching him work with tools and fix things. Naturally, I followed in his footsteps, whether it was repairing my pushbike, TV, or hairdryer, and eventually, cars. I developed a love not just for cars and motorcycles, but for engineering as a whole – how things are made, fixed, or improved to better fit our lifestyle. The ability to solve a problem has always fascinated me, and the ability to understand and fix a modern vehicle with all it’s technology should never be underestimated!’
AutoAngels is also passionate about giving hands-on experience to apprentices and trainees to work on real-world cars.
